TRAVEL
Travel tips for your Malaysian adventure!
Why Malaysia?
Malaysia - not only Zoe’s birthplace but a country that holds a special place in our hearts and taste buds. Anthony often reminisces about falling in love over a delicious bowl of char kway teow on our third date.
We are excited to introduce you to our favourite Malaysian dishes and the unique culture of this beautiful country.
We encourage you to arrive a bit early or stay longer to explore the vibrant city of KL. Whether you're sampling street food or drifting on a firefly boat ride, , there's so much to explore and enjoy.
Arriving
Our wedding will be held 45 minutes outside Kuala Lumpur (KL), nestled in the valleys of Bentong, for three days of celebration.
The festivities kick off with a welcome party on Thursday, 7th August 2025. To ensure you don't miss a moment, we recommend arriving in Kuala Lumpur a little bit early.
We recommend flying to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Once you land, go to the ‘e-Hailing’ area and use the Grab app (Asian Uber) to call a car.
Ignore anyone at the airport with a Grab sign - it’s a scam!
Where to stay
Our wedding events will take place in Bukit Tinggi, Bentong and transportation is difficult unless pre-booked. We will have shuttles running between the venue and these recommended nearby hotels!
Please let us know if you make other arrangements and need help organising transport.
